Stephen Welch MA CMLI
“Every landscape is unique, and each presents its own challenges. The satisfaction comes from overcoming those challenges, making the most of the possibilities, and creating a landscape that both the client and I can be truly proud of.” Stephen Welch.
Stephen is a chartered landscape architect with a Masters in Landscape Design from Sheffield University. As a talented landscape architect of more than 20 years experience, Stephen has developed the skill set to tackle any project.
Stephen has previously worked for a number of private practices and government bodies, and was the brains and talent behind the Daily Telegraph’s garden design service.
Stephen’s experience allows him to tap into exactly what each client wants from a landscape, and he tackles each and every project with characteristic enthusiasm. Stephen takes great pride and satisfaction in every stage of a project, relishing the process of shaping and modelling a landscape as well as the end result. Stephen’s ability to see each aspect of design through the eyes of those who will build it informs his innovative but practical approach. He works closely with other professionals such as architects, engineers and town planners to produce seamless, integrated designs for each project.
Naturally very practical and hands-on, and a born team player, Stephen likes nothing better than rolling his sleeves up and getting his hands dirty on site.
When Stephen isn’t working he likes playing tennis, running, enjoying outdoor pursuits and getting involved at Doncaster Rugby Club.
